Doha: The Health Monitoring Section at Doha Municipality supervised the slaughtering of 8,879 sacrificial sheep and 117 cattle during first and second day of Eid Al Adha at Automated Abattoir in Doha.

The slaughtered sacrificial animals were handed over to the people through three butcheries – Butchery of Automated Abattoir, Butchery of Regency Signal and Butchery of Kharatiyat and other outlets across the country.

MUMBAI: India’s worsening economic outlook as coronavirus cases soar has raised the chance the central bank will cut interest rates at its policy review on Thursday, in spite of inflationary pressures.
Around two-thirds of economists in a Reuters poll expect the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to cut the repo rate by another 25 basis points (bps) on Aug. 6 to a record low of 3.50 percent, and once more next quarter.
“High inflation has added confusion to the Reserve Bank’s policy outlook, but given the state of aggregate demand, we forecast the RBI will continue easing,” said Rahul Bajoria, economist at Barclays"...

MADRID: International tourist arrivals to Spain fell 98% year on year in June, official statistics released on Monday showed, as the country continues to reel from the effects of the global coronavirus pandemic.

Over the first six months of the year some 10.8 million foreign tourists visited Spain, around 72 percent less than in the same period of 2019, the National Statistics Institute said.

ADEN — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre organized recreational activities and distributed gifts among orphan children in Yemen on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha as part of its year-long 'Seed of Safety' project, providing support to 600 orphans from different Yemeni governorates in cooperation with the Al-Khair Coalition for Humanitarian Relief.
